Mack? - Land on Long Branch and Slate Creek - 137 acres. My guess is that this record pertains to land left to heirs at death of Eli Hubbard. Evaline died in the mid 1870s, so her children are named. James H. Trimble was the guardian of Evaline's minor children at her death. Bettie Hubbard is not listed here...not sure why not. Anderson Deceased of Company E 1 Reg of Ky Vols personally appeared before The undersigned authority duly authorized to administer oaths within & for Said County Elizabeth Anderson the widow of the Late James H. Anderson Deceased aged 64 years whose post office address is Spencer Montgomery County Ky well known to me to be Reputable And Credible and who being duly Sworn declares in Relation to this claim as follows 1st Wit says She was married to Said James H. Anderson on the 9th day of May 1844 in Aberdeen in County of Brown Ohio by the Reverand Squire Shelton That her maiden name was Elizabeth Stephens That her husband Died on the 8th day of February 1888 by Reason of Disease as I Believe Contracted in The late United States Army which Disease Caused his Death Witness further States That Squire Shelton give Them a Certificate of marriage which Certificate was Shown and read at Turly and Co Store in Montgomery County Ky In the presence of Carlisle Myers J.H. Trimble and others James Turly Read the Certificate of Marriage aloud Said Certificate is mislaid or lost and Wit further States That Squire Shelton is Dead and That it is Impossible as Wit believes to procure Said Certificate Given under my Hand This 8th day of October 1888.

Anderson before their marriage and that they eloped from their parents to get married in 1844 or 1845 by Squire Shelton in Aberdeen, Brown Co, Oh. - 18 Dec 1888, George W.
